BLOOM COUNSELING SERVICES

Every individual’s path to healing is unique. I blend mindful awareness, somatic connection, and compassionate inquiry to help you uncover the patterns that shape your life and begin to shift them with intention.

With CBT, we bring light to limiting beliefs and patterns and clarify your values, gently shifting the inner dialogue and the choices you make that shape your reality.

Through Somatic Integration, we listen to the body’s subtle messages — learning to release tension, ground in presence, and reconnect with the innate wholeness within.

Rooted in a Humanistic and spiritual lens, I hold space for your unique path, meeting you with empathy, reverence, and trust in your capacity to heal and grow.
Whether you're moving through anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling called to deepen your connection with self, I welcome you to explore this work with me. Together, we’ll create a sacred space where healing can unfold naturally — on your timeline.
Therapy sessions cost $125/hour and are self-pay. Medicaid is not accepted.
All services are self-pay only, but I am happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to insurance, just let me know!
Therapy is helpful to address your emotional well-being, daily functioning or long-term patterns or traumas that are rooted in your past. Therapists have advanced degrees, and are trained to treat emotional and mental health issues, work with trauma, and help you explore deeper layers of behavior and identity. Therapy is about healing.
Coaching is helpful to support you in reaching specific goals and is focused more on the future than the past. Coaches are generally trained through certification programs that run anywhere from 3 months to 2 years, and they can have a variety of professional/non professional backgrounds. If you are not in an emotional crisis and want to get clear on action steps, accountability, direction or confidence, then coaching might be a better fit. Coaching is about creating.
Many people benefit from both therapy and coaching.
It really depends on the issues and goals. There are not fixed timelines, but some common ranges.
Therapy is about healing, understanding patterns, and making deeper emotional or relational changes.
Short-term treatment (6-20 sessions) - Good for specific anxiety triggers, some relationship issues, dealing with stress, or a focused issue with clear goals. This is often Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused or structured work.
Medium-term treatment (3-12 months)- Good for relationship patterns, self-esteem or boundaries, chronic stress, identity exploration, or family-of-origin issues. This is the most common length for many people.
Long-term treatment (1-3 years) – Good for trauma, attachment wounds, long standing patterns, deep self-understanding, life transitions with many layers, ongoing emotional growth. This treatment usually blends a psychodynamic, somatic and/or relational approach. Note that emotional healing unfolds unevenly, trust and safety takes time and deeper change is gradual.
My work generally blends therapy and coaching, but therapy is not available out of state. That is why I created my Relationship Reset course, which you can read more about on the home page.
In your first session, an electronic chart (EHR - electronic health record) will be created automatically upon scheduling. The EHR system will send you intake paperwork that must be completed and signed before the first session. This paperwork consists of: An Intake form (with demographics, symptoms, health history, goals), A Consent to Treatment (ensures you understand your rights and agree to the treatment you will receive), and a Good Faith Estimate (a description of expected costs of services, which protects you from unexpected or unclear billing). I'll discuss aspects of how I approach working with clients, rules around confidentiality, visit with you about your answers on the intake form, and we'll look at your goals for treatment and schedule another session if you decide to move forward working together.
Psychotherapy sessions can be attended in person, online via Zoom, or by telephone.
Therapy helps you reveal unconscious patterns (habitual reactions, attachment patterns, defensive strategies and adaptive behaviors), tune into your feelings, an understanding of your inner world (self-awareness), and offers you a therapeutic relationship that can reflect back to you in an emotionally safe, non-judgmental space. If you choose to engage in coaching and therapy together, they can offer a broader picture to help you understand yourself better.
While it's very common to have these concerns, please know that these reactions are normal and allowed in session (and they are very human). Crying is ok, it's not weakness, it is a natural part of healing! Not knowing is okay, it means you are learning! Feeling embarrassed is ok, it means you are being honest! Worrying about judgment is ok, it is helpful information that we can use to build trust!
